What is Delta-8 THC?

Delta 8 THC is a psychoactive compound similar to Delta 9 THC. It is a hemp-derived THC that is fast-acting, potent, and provides much of the same relief as Delta-9 THC for a fraction of the cost and with milder effects. Delta-8 THC has been studied as early as the 1940s-60s for its interesting pharmacological properties and is still being studied today for other possible therapeutic applications. Today it is one of the most famous cannabinoids besides CBD and Delta-9 THC. We infuse a wide variety of our products with this effective form of THC, and we offer a wide range of sizes for our bulk Delta-8 Distillate. All of our distillate batches are full-panel lab tested for quality and consistency.

What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the most important compounds discovered in hemp and cannabis alongside THC. Unlike THC, this compound is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not have pronounced effects on our CB1 receptors which is responsible for the impairment associated with THC. CBD was first discovered in 1940 by U.S Chemist Roger Adams, who also isolated CBN.
Instead of being intoxicating like THC, CBD interacts with our Endocannabinoid System differently, helping endocannabinoids stay in the body longer and interacting with our TRP cation channels.

How do I use a tincture?

To use a tincture, squeeze the top of the pipette attached to the bottle and suck the oil from the bottle into the graduated 1ml pipette; this is your best way of accurately measuring your dosage. Collect the desired amount in the pipette and gently deposit it by squeezing the top of the pipette again when placed underneath your tongue for a sublingual dose, or swallow for a more traditional edible dose. We recommend starting slow with tinctures; the effects may not be instant and need time to be absorbed in your body. The average onset time depends entirely on the individual consumer, so find your sweet spot for dosage and onset for effects, and you’ll be sure to have an amazing time with this unique and effective way of intaking cannabinoids.

Why Use a Tincture Over an Edible?

Tinctures are a fast and effective method of delivery when it comes to ingesting cannabinoids. Tinctures allow you to absorb cannabinoids through the blood vessels in the mouth, most concentrated in the gums and soft tissue, and especially underneath the tongue (sublingual). This absorption is faster than ingesting tinctures as a standard edible, which the stomach and liver must process before producing effects. Holding a tincture sublingually for 30-60 seconds or longer is the best way to absorb it quickly. When it comes to tinctures, they are fantastic for mixing into food or drink, sublingual administration, or direct ingestion. For sublingual use, drop the solution under the tongue and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Any excesses that may be swallowed will be processed as usual.

Tincture effects may have a delayed onset after consumption.
